Lol, half this board is Braves fans from Louisiana. It’s the same type of bandwagon. Some chose TBS while others chose WGN.
I always thought it was a little weird that Louisiana Braves fans support a city’s team where they hate the football team.

People can do whatever they want, of course.
I personally find it more "legitimate" when someone came by their support naturally, rather than just picking a team that was good or that was different from wherever they live.
TBS/WGN is fairly legitimate, although I'm sure a lot of Cubs fans in particular use that excuse when they've in reality only started flying the W in the last couple of years. Being a Braves fan in the South isn't abnormal in really any circumstance, as there has been no real reason for a bandwagon in a while, the Braves won't get constant ESPN attention, and almost everyone in the Southeast travels through Atlanta at various times.
I like the Cubs and don't hate the Red Sox, so I don't really have any particular dislike for their fans. It only really becomes annoying when people who are clearly bandwagonners a) suddenly start talking shite out of thin air, as in this thread or b) take pride in being the outsider in another team's territory.
