But what gives you the impression O will adapt ON the field where Les wouldn't?

saw the team improve on the back half of the season last year. Even O detractors mentioned it.

When the first half of the season includes a loss to Troy at home and a 30 point loss to State there's no where to go but up.

The 3 main guys running the ship were all hired by Les. Why would this year be any diff? Especially considering people think Les sucked at hiring.

After shitting all over itself in the front half. Sorry, but 9-4 against a historically-weak SEC, followed by O firing his only major hire to date doesn't exactly engender a wealth of confidence.

Here's the SEC records of the teams LSU played after the Troy loss.

Florida: 3-5
Auburn: 7-1
Ole Miss: 3-5
Bama: 7-1
Arkansas: 1-7
Tennessee: 0-8
Texas A&M: 4-4

Hell, even Mississippi State only played 500 ball in the conference.

Playing a schedule that poor I would hope like hell we would see improvement.
