NOAA Just Approved 2018 -2019 State Red Snapper Management

If I read this correctly the season will probably begin Fri before Memorial Day and be open every Fri, Sat , and Sun similar to last year until
the quota is met.

With 743,000 lbs of snapper approved for Louisiana’s EFP, anglers can likely expect a significantly longer federal waters season than in recent years. The WLF Commission will be tasked with setting the 2018 season structure at their May 3rd meeting in Baton Rouge.
