Alcohol in the stadium has close to 0% influence on the 2nd half attrition we experience. Its multifactorial but little to do with alcohol. Now, for those of us who stay the whole game - why not, let's have some fun.

It would cut down on the number of completely wasted idiots IMO. Won't have as many people leaving their tailgate area right after pounding down enough alcohol to keep them drunk all game if buying beer in the stadium was an option. And less people smuggling in flasks of hard liquor.

The Bible Belt of the South is fricking it up for us normal, God fearing football folks. I agree - they need to name which schools are against it and then take a vote every year. I guarantee by the time they vote on it for the third time, there will be a majority in the conference that are in favor of removing the ban.
