I am building a playhouse for my kid and am looking for an old flight stick to make a spaceship command center, something like this.I don't want to pay $60.00 for something that will be destroyed the first time it rains. I am going to head to the Salvation Army and some local thrift stores, but figured that I could check on here to see if any of you had one sitting in the closet somewhere, or know of a place where I can look.

It does not have to work, as it will be sitting outside. I live in Baton Rouge and can pickup and will send pics (of the treehouse) when it is done.

I'd check goodwill or pawn shops as well, find an old video game controller.

eBay "flight stick for parts" you'll find plenty for next to nothing

I have an old logitech 3d pro flight stick I don't use anymore you can have. It still works but idc it's useless to me. It's just the stick though I don't have a throttle.

I actually noticed a scifi tv show using them as their sticks for their spaceships one time

can't remember which show it was though. Might have been one of the ships in the expanse or Marvel's Agents of Shield

Thanks, I am in my 40’s and still remember my old man building one for me. He screwed in an old car steering wheel and other junk and it was the most kick arse spaceship on the block, I’m paying it forward for my 6 yo
