Waiting lists are weird. Alot of people get on multiple waiting lists and then take the first that opens up. Which means when they say there's a year waiting list, it usually isn't that long.

You may be the 20th person on the list, but 15 of those people ahead of you are going to end up going to another daycare which means you are really 5th on the list.


If all the daycare waiting lists were really a year long, one of the corporate places like Primrose or Sunshine would slap up another location to meet demand.
