Legally she may be in the wrong. You think a DA would charge her though?

I doubt they would want the bad publicity of charging a sped mom who was trying to protect their kid.

I'm not sure, there was a woman who got charged with a felony a few months ago over putting a recorder in the students book sack. I think it was because the student said the teachers were bullying her and the school wouldn't do anything about it.

But if I were the teachers, in this case, I think I would just leave it alone. You got caught acting an arse, it's bad enough everyone knows about it and heard the recording. Bow out as peacefully as you can.

Who needs the DA, the two woman that were fired can sue in civil court, they lost their jobs as the result of an illegal act, the mom that recorded them has liability.
