How legal is that though? I know that for phone conversations, it is only legal if at least one of the party knows it is being taped. I wonder what the law says in a case like this? Can they legally claim that the student knew about the recording?

She won't think so when she's in court being sued (and losing) by the teacher and teacher's aide.
