The show has its roots in Miami and all things considered it brings something to the table. The city as a character I mean.

But, would the show have been even more diverse and sinister feeling in Chicago, NYC, or even London?

Any other settings better than Miami or was Miami perfect?

Miami was absolutely perfect. From the late nights on the boat, to the colors, to the swampland out west.

Instead of donuts, imagine Dexter bringin' shrimp and grits every mornin?
The team could meet up after work for a spicy gumbo hurricane party every day. Batista would always carry a flask in his pocket and get away with it because this is his town. Instead of Jimmy Smits and his fiery Latino blood, you'd have crazy Cajuns wit dare own sense o' justice. Glorious.
