I am not sure it makes sense to withhold judgement at this point unless you can point to a systemic change in the coach or program to make you reserve judgement. Maybe it is the career assistant coach from TN that can make a difference. But the track record here at LSU for the head coach in recruiting seems pretty clear. After 2017 she needed a comparable 2018 class. It hasn’t happened.
The performance on the court this year has been an improvement. But if there is a step back next year, the trigger has to be pulled on a change.
Regarding parity: I think it is only marginally better. But parity doesn’t make it easier for a program like LSU. It makes it harder with more competition. Less parity with our history and alumni is a much better situation for LSU with a coach who is very good on the floor and recruiting.
