Penn Battle is hard to argue with. Only knock I have on it is that the reel handle is plastic (on the model I bought at least) though I've never had any issues.
Also own the predecessor to the NASCI from shimano that was offered at the same price point. Mine gets a little finnicky in cold weather, but it is noticeably smoother than the penn
