Who gives a shite about a football coach’s political views? This wont affect my opinion on him because it has nothing to do with the saints.

I didn't give a shite when pop did it and don't give a shite now.
His job is to coach football, not run the country.
But to your point, he wouldn't have said his opinion if people didn't want to make it news. It's dumb to ask a football coach about his views on gun control.
I don't know why we as society constantly have to turn to famous people to get their views from their bubble that has no bearing on the common man.
