LSU plays USM tonight and then plays Missouri.

Missouri doesnt have stellar pitching, but they have several players like Sanchez who can hit very well. They are not to be looked past. No more easy SEC games, everybody can anybody these days.

South Carolina is on a tear, ripping Tennessee apart.

Our strong suit at LSU is pitching. Kudos to Beth Torina for giving more players time on the field.

I'd personally love to see a totally different lineup for tonight's game...Goff and the others who don't play much...put them out there and give them a chance to shine.

RPI will be the most important poll by the end of the year but LSU is ranked #12 at the moment

LSU can definitely finish in the top 8 if we can take care of business down the stretch

Baylor win and Auburn sweep will look nice on the resume for post season selection

South Carolina, Georgia and Miss St are all dramatically improve this year

Ole Miss is way worse than anyone expected.

Mizzou can be deadly offensively if they play well but we need to show well offensively this weekend. Their pitcher have a difficult time keeping balls in the park.

Same this would be a perfect opportunity to work them, Sunseri as well.

I kinda wanna see Caccamise see an opportunity offensively as well

I do think Antoine should not only be in the lineup but also needs to be moved up

Always on base and has hit the ball well. She isn't swing at junk pitches either. Once she starts to drive balls into the gaps she will be a fun one

Kara is capable of playing in the middle infield or OF

But usually its 2B

Kara's only hit is a bases loaded double, some of her other hits were drilled!!

She should most definitely see a lot more at bats

Is like to see her play more. i am sure she knows she is good enough to start elsewhere.

Same, a few of the freshman are ridiculously talented, just need experience.

I agree but Beth is desperate to get the bad bating average up against non SEC teams.
Goff must have something going on physically since not getting any chances.
I would have thought CC would have got the NDSU game and even today they way Michaela had been not producing at the plate prior til today.

There is zero reason why Antoine is not in the everyday lineup, absolutely none.

Sunseri comes in and produces immediately. Schulte has had how many at bats? Its time to sit down for a little

If Bourg didn’t have to redshirt she would be at 2nd this year hitting at least .300

She will be hard pressed to play to find a spot next year especially with the recruiting class we have coming in

It might not be as strong as you think. So let’s just hope for the best with this group against the teams coming up.

yes there is a reason... apparently the coaches see something that y'all don't. Not trying to be a jerk, but unless you are on the coaching staff, it's not a sound argument to say there is no reason why she isn't playing. Maybe y'all should go and ask the staff...

honest question

I am just saying Antoine has been producing lately every time she has played.I trust our coaches but does that mean they are always correct?

Why is it that the infield is set and stone every time but the position that does produce essentially every game is the one rotated?

I am not trying to bash anyone I just personally don't understand it.

I was excited to see Sunseri shine today, look forward to more of those moments

The way you just said it is more sound... you know as a coach, I will challenge comments like that since I still walk in the same shoes. Gotta keep you honest lol
