Bama s OC is 50 & burton burns is almost 70. I don’t really think the age of our staff is abnormally old

Bama's average coaching age is +/- 45 yrs old, take out Saban at 67 and it's +/- 43 yrs old. Burton Burns is a year younger than Saban and he's an Asst AD, not an on-the-field coach any longer.

A program needs a mixture of young energetic guys and some well seasoned/experienced guys. The key is to get a variation of ideas/techniques and a HC with a willingness to adjust/evolve/change when needed.
