At 3-4yo we put numbered rubber circles the size of a plate on the field for postions. Rotate if and of every inning. They are all gonna chase. Teach them to go back to their spot before each batter. By 6 we were coach pitch, playing regular rules baseball. Get the coachable kids and you will do will. Our age group won DYB world series first year and second the next. By 6 we were turning DPs every game. Its amazing what kids at that age can do.


Eta. Give a game ball after each game to a deserving kid(not tnecessarily the best). Write the name, date, and Game Ball on it
