How stupid is this guy?

Complains that people say he is protesting the national anthem when he refuses to stand for the national anthem.
Well...he told people what he was doing and they didn't care. Trump's Republican Army came in and muddied the water by throwing out the red herring and saying it was about veterans.
Yes. It really is sad that he has to bow down to the idiots just so he can get a paycheck.

If it truly was just about the message and not about the flag/anthem, he would've changed his method of protest long before he was unemployed, when it first became abundantly clear his message was being misinterpreted.

Sounds like he doesn't have much conviction in his methods if he's willing to capitulate ths easily.
For as misguided as he is, at least kaepernick has consistently stood by his beliefs and continued his fight, and deserves at least some respect for that.
Eric Reid just proved he is nothing but a poser and a sellout.

I actually agree with you. I knew him at LSU and Eric is a relatively quiet, intelligent, normal guy. Protesting is about bringing awareness to something that isn’t getting attention. Guess what? He and Colin DEFINITELY accomplished that
But just like anything in our culture, it was politicized and twisted to mean something it wasn’t. And he’s been demonized. The problem is we live in a reactionary culture that doesn’t know how to go deeper than one layer.
I know I know “go to the political board” well here’s a video to liven it up a bit...

Kaepernick's own words when the anthem protests first started:
"I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color"

They voted with their wallets.
Eric is feeling the pinch.
In the 60's, men gave their lives for their beliefs and protests regarding treatment of blacks.
Eric won't even risk his current job.
What a bitch.
He refused to honor the National Anthem, an official national symbol.
If he thinks his stance is so important, why isn't he willing to sacrifice?

Your logic is flawed snowflake.
Actions lead to consequences. Your boy Eric is learning that the hard way. Atleast he owned up to how stupid his protest was.
Sucks for him. Cost him millions over a non existent issue. Stupid people play stupid games.
I have no sympathy for idiots.

The entire concept of rebellion in a free open society is inanely moronic! Clearly the African movement is demanding more monetary gift support in a pro leftist politically charged NFL. The salaries allocated to uneducated thugs is only fueling this retardium. Take away your TV time thus support of this sport. Boycott the motherfricker and watch the immediate reversal in policy.
