Herman went 9-3 his second season. Houston as a team went 9-4. The same fricking record that o had last year, and you guys were giddy as kids in a candy store over that record.

Was LSU ranked #6 in the country at any time last year. Did they have by far the most talent in the SEC like UH did in the AAC? Was LSU favored to win a game by 23 points and lose by 22 while gaining 303 yards against a team with a losing overall and conference record? Did LSU do that in the coach's second season? Did LSU go from ranked top 10 to unranked?

Things to consider.

ETA: and there is even more.

You could consider that while Herman was running a championship offense with a 3rd string QB, Orgeron was an unemployed defensive line coach.

You could also consider that Herman has more quality wins than Orgeron.

Did Houston play 6 teams with 500 or worse winning percentages? Did Houston play 5 teams that fired their head coaches during the season?

I don't give a hoot about who's ranked where. 9-4 is 9-4 dummy.
