water the perimeter of your yard and burn it. Saw this a lot as a kid growing up in South Alabama. As long as you can control it, I would burn it. Burning will get rid of all of the old grass as well as add nitrogen back into the soil. I have done this several times, and works well. Grass greens up really nice.

I think so, altho it’s my first time using one so I have nothing to compare too. I put 2 cinderblocks on it strapped down.
