I’ve always lobbied for Reid to start at 3b, but OP is fighting with voices in his head. Reid has always been a fan favorite and everyone knows he’s the steady hand over there while slaughter is developing.
I’m happy for Reid, but also pulling for slaughter. Having a lot of good options is never a bad thing

Scoring runs is only relevant to speed whenever you talk about scoring from second base. A very low percentage of times scoring from second result in plays at the plate
