On my recent trip to Austin everyone told me to not waste my time going to Franklin's. At noon I said screw it and went. Waited in line for 45 minutes and then had the best brisket I have ever had in my life. Glad I didnt listen to everyone else

That's awesome, but it's definitely the exception, not the rule.
Aaron Franklin makes incredible BBQ, but to wait in line for over 3 hours only to THEN be told that they are out of food sucks.
My old job used to cater Franklin's for our meetings and it was delicious, but it annoys me that they could probably produce more food but they don't because it's a bit of a "status symbol" to run out.
It's not impressive to run out of food. It's annoying.
