Maybe having and raising kids should be about doing more than the bare minimum to get by while devoting my life to work? Just maybe.

Benefits aren’t just meant to give you the bare minimum necessary to make it through life. They are part of my compensation and a benefit to myself and my family so that I can spend more than the bare minimum time at home.

Bare minimum? Ha! If you cannot fully devote 12 hours a day to a newborn child/mother and eight hours a day to work you are being lazy.
