Please cite, with link, to where Wade has admitted what he said was wrong? B/c I follow pretty much every Wade interview/presser and have yet to hear this. And while ULL coach may not have used the word “scared” in his statements, he highly insinuated it. And while I agree his original comments were made under the pretense of chastising the NIT committee, he used it as an opportunity to take several jabs at LSU to garner attention.

What you, and other ULL fans fail to realize is that Wade completely played to his audience and won in a BIG way. First off, he waited till after handling his business on the court before he took care of business off the court. Your coach can learn a thing or two there. Second, Wade isn’t going to apologize because he has nothing to apologize for. The fans he represents and coaches for LOVE everything about what he said and he only endeared himself to them even more, further solidifying and growing the fan base moving forward. Third, LSU fans could care less that these comments were directed at ULL. The same situation could have happened with just about any other school (in or out of state) and our fans would have reacted the same way. So no, this incident and the way LSU fans reacted does not elevate your team’s status or relevance to LSU. You just happened to be what was on the “menu” for this week.

And finally, I hate you for hijacking what could have been a good conversation on Wade’s scheduling philosophy and turning it into yet another stupid ULL thread, when it was never directed at y’all to begin with.
