And this is the problem with their protest IMO. The Flag and National Anthem are symbols and mean diff things to diff people. To some people, it represents the ultimate sacrifice some people have made to protect our freedom over here. To others, it’s a symbol of our country and history and pride. To others, it’s a symbol of honor and respect and loyalty all that. And to some, it doesn’t mean much.

So people interpret their kneeling for the Flag and Anthem differently because it means diff things to diff people. And that right there is the problem. Kneeling for the Anthem / Flag might not seem like it’s a big deal to some, and to some it’s a huge deal and a huge sign of disrespect.

Don’t protest by kneeling for the Flag / Anthem and then tell people what you mean by it or your intent. Because like I said, the Flag and Anthem means diff things to diff people.

You are terribly uneducated about who the Confederate soldiers were and why they fought. Modern education has failed you. The South wanted to chart it's own coarse after being financially raped by northern interest for decades. The north had rigged it to where they were making forty cents out of every dollar shipped through northern ports. The North had four times the population of the South yet the South was financing 80% of the federal government. When the South seceded from the Union,it SOLVED the "problem" of slavery in the USA because it did not exist there anymore. The north never fought to free the slaves in Cuba or Mexico. They killed 750,000 young men in the prime of their lives and had to invent a reason for it other than the real reason which was to continue to rape the South financially. What gave the north ownership of the people of the South to the degree that they could FORCE them to stay in a one-sided union? Nothing. The real MEN of the South stood up to them with everything they had in defense of their states and families. Slavery wasn't just plantations in the South. It was also ship builders and ship owners in the north as well as bankers and financiers in the north making money off of it. Those whom you refer to as traitors were actually hereos standing up for what they believed in.

I'm pretty much a lurker, so I read a lot of what you say, and believe it or not I'm not one of those that disagree with everything you say, but on the anthem stance I think you're dead wrong .
