It's also funny to think any of these protests are actually going to accomplish something.
The schools should be docked a days FedGov Education Funds too. The kids are NOT attending after all.
ETA: Dock the teachers pay too, they are not teaching classes if the students are out for protesting.
Only the participating schools though, not blanket "all" schools. If schools want funds for a day off, too damned bad. If they turn in attendance records tomorrow while not really holding classes, that's fraud and should be pursued in the court/legal system.
