he came to LSU mainly based on CEO - hmmm
LINK
Why pick LSU?
I really enjoyed being around Coach O, Coach (Dave) Aranda and Coach Dennis Johnson. For the most part, I enjoyed learning from them as much as being around them. To be around those guys who have been around football for numerous years and have coached great teams, it was an honor and blessing.

I don't know TigerRee
let me guess - he likes CEO or he thinks the Tigers will be ok with CEO as HC
you guys seem to be more about CEO than the football team - so sad
Your reasoning is easy to follow in that you have given CEO no chance of competing Bama and Georgia.
Anyone accepting CEO as the Head Coach of LSU football is accepting the given fate of being a middle tier program for the entire run of the CEO ear.
I guess I will just have to wait and see. You see 2017 as the per-courser for things to come from a CEO coached team. Sound logic in most fields but not football. What was given to the new football coach mean more to the first couple of seasons more than most sports.
Les was given a class program with great QB talent. CEO did not get that but it is what it is, I am not going to join into the never ending debate on this site about the ups and downs of the CEO hire.
I am doing my best to look forward and look forward into the 2018 football season starting with the spring game !
hope to see you guys there

Did I miss him singling out O? Looks like he named three coaches. Didn’t even say “especially Coach O,” he just threw them all together. Good try, though.
