This is another topic, but I will say this. I’m starting to see a new girl and we spend a lot of time at home because she has a daughter and also we’re old now. We have found that both of us tend to be on our phones way to much. If we’re not using them in front of each other, the second one of us walks out the room the other is on it, at which the other person sees them on it so jumped on theirs to check messages, Facebook, Togerdrippings, etc. We are both very guilty of it and last night we jokingly/non jokingly left our phones in the other room. It’s crazy how much this has infiltrated our lives

It really has, and even my generation. A few years back I got together with some friends who came into town for a HS reunion and we hadn’t seen each other in decades. It wasn’t long before people started pulling out their phones and checking FB or texting, and pretty soon I and another girl at the table were looking at each other like WTF? I couldn’t help but think how back in the day we would all be running our mouths and the noise at the table would be amped up as everyone was taking at a level to be heard. What a difference this stuff has played in our lives, some for the better, but I have to think a lot for the worse too.
