What is R and SAS. I’ve heard of SAS but don’t know what that is.

R is an open source analytics and integrity program. It’s strength is histograms and data viz.
SAS is primarily a financial statistics tool. Its downside is that it’s expensive and a lot of companies are going to alternative solutions, but it’s still used quite a bit by large organizations.
