This might need to go on the ot, but society doesn't value/respect a lot of the things women do, but that isn't all man's fault.

Ex: cheerleaders

We don't watch that shite and think...man she has worked really hard to be that flexible, her jumps are explosive, etc...

We look and think how incredible she looks in that sexy little outfit. And that's both sexes' fault.

Society does value: humor; brains; athleticism, when on par (that's why guys give props to dancers and gymnasts...they do it best in the world); etc.

Sorry, society doesn't really respect things that use looks as part of the accomplishment.
