I brought mine in to Ford to service it since I thought it would be under my nice expensive extended warranty, which it wasn't.
Started hearing the clunk around 50k. Got it greased around 55k and never had a problem again up to the 98k miles on it when I sold it.

i have a '10 4x4 with a 5.4 and i swear i think the transmission is going to fall out every time i put it in gear.
