Boxers are also prone to heart issues, hip dysplasia and epilepsy. My grandmother raised them for 40 years. Great dogs but they run up a vet bill in 2 seconds.

We have a 6 year old beagle and just got a golden retriever a year ago. They love each other. The beagle is nuts but the golden chills him the frick out when he needs to.
