Thanks for all the feedback. I brought the Hoka shoes back and will get something else.
I do roll with a lacrosse ball and then Sit my foot in a bucket of ice. I stretch my toes back and calves and am adding hamstring stretch. Weird how stretching my hamstring I feel it down in my heel. Guess I’ll just continue until something makes it go away.
I have a hiking trip to Yosemite in June and my hope is it will be gone. However if not, I’ll tape it and take ibuprofen and deal with it. As long as I’m active it’s not so awful, it’s sitting still or laying down that tightens it up and makes it hurt.
