It's not uncommon for someone to sell a house in CA and then buy 3 once they get to Texas. One to live in and 2 for rental income.
If I could sell my house in Texas and buy 3 somewhere else and get the same gig going I'd have to think really hard about it. (What the hell am I saying, that would be the easiest decision ever
