It's not. It is a state of both great wealth and terrible, grinding poverty. And it is the ABSOLUTE WORST state to live in if you are poor.

I already posted data that adjusted for COL, we have the highest poverty rate in nation.

It is not a state to live in if you want to be a comfortable middle class person. Lowest home ownership in America, people living in rooms, out of cars, etc..... there are glaring shortcomings to this state.

It does the struggling people here NO FAVORS when you choose to propagandize this state as some liberal paradise.

I live here, so I'm very aware of the issues. Something will need to be done about pensions. That shite is out of control. But this site is always good for a laugh with these types of threads. They make it seem like Cali is a 3rd world country that only wishes it could be like a southern state.

That’s bullshite. The social safety net in California is much better than Louisiana or Mississippi or any of these other extremely red states.
