What the hell does Florida have besides Cigar City?

Missouri is really underrated if you include all of the Kansas City area in it. St. Louis has multiple really good breweries and KC does as well.

lol

CC isn't even close to the best in FL.

J. Wakefield, Angry Chair, and Cycle are making some of the most highly sought after adjunct-laden stouts in craft beer right now. And J. Wakefield is big on the fruited Berliners as well -- I've only had DFPF, but it was excellent. I don't think much of J. Wakefield hops, but it's a thing that's happening. 7venth Sun for your sour/funky stuff. Cycle and Angry Chair are also dabbling in hazy IPAs, but Civil Society is really what you're looking for if you want hops. Coppertail is solid. Funky Buddha (sell out and mediocre in my opinion) continues to excite people. I've heard that Green Bench is doing good things, but I've not had much of their beer to offer much insight.

And FL is home of one of like three legit hype meaderies in the country with Garagiste Meadery.

So yeah, FL is trash I guess
