The one thing Shelvin has going for him is he's a RS freshman so he's had a year of strength and conditioning with Moffit and he's been able to participate in practices. It will certainly take time with him, but he can at least give meaningful snaps as a space eater and help with depth. Consider an OC having to push on Big Ed for a half and then comes in this big behemoth at 340-350 Lbs with fresh legs. That'll zap the life right out of you.

Yeah, LSU has some real behemoths this year, not only Big Ed and Shelvin, but the kid from Houston who's name I can't remember right now and Hines. Real brutes to block that will just absolutely wear down OLineman, plus, huge monster DLinemen Glen Logan and Dare Rosenthal, both at 320+ and tall at around 6'5 and above that can play either DE or DT. Lol
