I don't live in constant fear of a house fire either, but I have fire extinguishers where they are needed.

I live in a good area with a security system and some large, vocal dogs. Making myself more likely to be shot by a firearm by owning one is an inefficient means of protecting my property considering the other, actual safe methods I already employ.

There's no reason to think I'll ever be in the situation where someone is screaming for my harm in my front yard, and to prepare for such a minuscule event is ludicrous. I may as well prepare for a meteor strike or a bear wandering ITP.

I would say you're a sheep, and carry a sheep's mentality, but even sheep know they have a reason to think that they can and will be preyed upon. That mentality is precisely why there are 17 dead in Florida.

What is the police response time to that good area and your house when your alarm goes off? Guess what? That's the exact amount of time a criminal has to take your shite, or rape you, or your wife. You may think you have no reason to think you'll be in that situation, but it happens every fricking day, so thinking that is colossally stupid.

You should never own a firearm. Just trust me on that one. You'll hurt yourself and I doubt you have the strength to pull the trigger anyway. They aren't very effective throwing them either especially when thrown by a wuss like you. You may be able to kill the assailant another way though. When he dies laughing at you after your throw attempt.

You painted yourself into a corner with your dumb post in which you said, "Introducing a gun into a situation NEVER makes the situation safer" so now you have to make a dumber post to try to get out of the corner you painted yourself into.

It didn't work.
