I wouldn't worry. Republicans will keep reminding them.

You do realize that the Supreme Court's action this week means that DACA won't be ending on March 5th right?

Maybe you need to leave infowars alone and go read some reputable news sources to be informed about actual news.

True, but the SCOTUS did not at all resolve the fact that a legislative solution needs to be had.

Any day now the appeals court could rule against daca and we have a shitstorm on our hands.

DACA is extended until the appeals court or SCOTUS hear it.

it's not a future ruling. the injuction is already in place from the lower court and will stay there until either the appeals court overturns it or the supreme court decides on it.

Do you all even pay attention

quote:

The agency said on Saturday that people who were previously granted deferred action under the program could request a renewal if it had expired on or after Sept. 5, 2016. People who had previously received DACA, but whose deferred action had expired before Sept. 5, 2016, cannot renew, but can instead file a new request, the agency said. It noted that the same instructions apply to anyone whose deferred action had been terminated.

But officials also said they were not accepting requests from individuals who have never been granted deferred action under DACA.

quote:

In his ruling, Judge Alsup laid out a road map for the government that officials appeared to follow. He said that previous beneficiaries of DACA, known as Dreamers, must be allowed to renew their status in the program, though the government would not be required to accept new applications from immigrants who had not previously submitted one.

So technically deportations have already begun.

DACA will not survive a challenge.

So, this is an attempt to legislate from the bench? Gotcha.

I am not, but I don't see value in deporting people that work, go to school, pay taxes from a country that they have lived in their entire lives. How fricked up is it that you would potentially be sending these people to countries that they have never known or speak the language. Shame on you.

how can they pay taxes if theyre illegal?

have they stolen someones identity to use their social?

keep trying, you'll make something resembling an argument.
