Rhodesia, the city of salisbury specifically, was a first world area before mugabe took over and abolished the nation and renamed it zimbabwe.

Then, all the skilled european settlers left and zimbabwe is now just another african failed state.

Ian Smith deserves a nobel peace prize for essentially creating a modern, industrialized, highly productive nation on a continent of poverty and third world living conditions.
