I lived that world for almost 7 years. It was a micromanagement hell.

We turned over people left and right. We averaged over 60% turnover within the first four to five months.

It was awful. However I can say that it this strategy did move the needle and it moved it very well. Of course it was all at the expense of an employee's job satisfaction but we made a whole lot of money doing it in the process.

I should add that we were owned by an investment firm company and they didn't give two s**** about employee turnover, employee morale, or job satisfaction.

So in order to feed my family, I lived the life. I certainly wouldn't use 3/4 of what I wrote, I just found it very comical and although many have down voted there are some good nuggets of information that are in there.
