Actually, Yep but not along the I-10 corridor. The I-12 corridor is where it is going to happen....eventually. More land that is usable and if the state and politicians would get off their arses and stop with the "studies" and widen I 12 to at least 3 lanes both ways across the stretch, it would happen a lot faster than people think.
The population growth of St. Tammany, Tangipahoa and Livingston sort of bare this out

Someone has to go to the legislature and explain to them how a one lane cloverleaf on the junction of I-12 and I-55 hurts business and the area....not to mention how fricked up it is for tractor trailers

Same case could be made in Slidell on the junction with 59/10/12

I'm sure they will "study" it

They need to improve US 190 as well.
