I agree with you that buying CPO is the right call. But you do realize if the car is more expensive when it’s new, the price will also rise when it’s used...right?

Not the case for Jeep Wranglers. Their resale value is high. I just looked up 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Saharas for sale...many of them selling for 29-33K.

I bought mine brand new for 34K.

Not really. Used vehicles, especially full sized trucks are holding their value pretty well.

This old lame response is funny.
Lets take any car that is priced under $40K new. Find me one that is one year old being sold used and show me a 30% reduction.

And it's worse with trucks. They are all holding value very well.

Now I will say buying a 4 or 5 year old used car has some advantages.

Some of the high end luxury imports depreciate like a falling stone, I think 2 years old with 20-25K miles is the sweet spot.
