Absolutely not. He broke up trusts that were destroying small businesses and raping the American public. He negotiated the Panama Canal to increase trade. He argued for the rights of European countries that colonized South America and Africa. And he put in place good regulations to ensure food safety and reduce child labor

I wouldn’t call him progressive, that compares him to Obama who was progressive for supporting men pooping in women’s bathrooms

You realize “progressive” issues at the time were clean meat, 40 hr work week, safe housing, voters get a say in the govt., those type of things.
