I’m sorry...as a man you will never understand what it is like to give birth. Biology and all that. Whereas a woman’s mom...she has obviously been there and is able to comfort her scared daughter in a way her husband will never be able to.


Also....a new dad isn’t at risk of dying in childbirth. Granted it doesn’t happen often now...but we just had a thread of a young healthy woman suddenly dying after the baby was born. So no....while you may be terrified for the safety of you wife and baby...your life is never at risk.
