re: Drinking beer at an AA meeting

To me you don’t really understand unless you give it time. When you start to see the people around you get sober and their lives change dramatically...man it’s something you can’t describe. That being said I don’t begrudge anyone who finds what works for them as long as they find it. Hell I was pissed at the people that got to go to rehab. I was going to work everyday and trying to save a marriage. Rehab sounded awesome lol. 6 years later though I’m happy because my path was my path.
