how much space do you need if you're a single guy? My apartment is pretty small, but I still have a lot of open space (it's not a studio).

I'd rather be within walking distance to restaurants and bars (and in my case, work), than have an extra room and a 30 min commute.

I need an office for when I telecommute and an extra bedroom for when family comes into town.

I am also 31 and not single. Looking to actually buy a home.

We have a townhouse off Greenville and Northwest HWY. I don't think I can move back to burbs unless we buy a house.
