I do believe a weatherman in the Huntsville, AL market was fired during the tornado outbreak for saying "if you live in a trailer, get out now, it will literally be thrown across the road". Next day, there were pictures of trailers across the road from where they were. I thought it was sound, straight to the point advice. Fickle society we live in.

What should he have said? "It's ok to stay put in your trailer with an EF4 coming through town?"
