Oh look at me, I like cloying "I'm a quirky Indie" movie with unbelievable characters who are just so unique and special and listen to The Shins all day while playing naked in the rain to show society what a precious snowflake they are.
Little Miss Sunshie is the Not Another Teen movie of Indies. It came about as close as you can get to being a parody of that genre. If you like being easily manipulated and insulted then that movie is for you.

You got some issues.
I thought it was a pretty enjoyable movie. I could see not thinking it was all that great but sounds to me like the lead actor banged your old lady.

Seriously though. You seem to have an axe to grind over this one. Did you have impure thoughts when the little girl was dancing or something? Damn. It’s just a quirky comedy.

If not for the amazing casting, you'd possibly have a point. But the direction and sheer talent of the cast elevate the film way above being a cookie-cutter indie film.
