Honest question that deserves an honest answer;

- Provide police presence at schools. As mentioned by another poster earlier in the week, possibly create a police substation at each school.
- Harden schools. Allow access only through manned control points. Require students to electronically badge into schools and into different sections of the school. Scan any bags that come into school.
- Carefully study tactics of mass murderers in public settings. Design exercises to address lessons learned.
- Permit teachers to concealed carry. Ensure they are extensively trained before hand. Execute drills.
- Equip each classroom with removable barricade devices.

All of this will cost money and be an inconvenience. We have to have the will to do what is necessary.
