re: Tired of the media and libs referring to the AR-15 as "assault rifle"..

My opinion is the ar is a defense weapon. I dont care if I ever shoot mine again, but I shall never be without one, (or a facimile) because I hope to at least have an opportunity to defend mine in case a s.h.t.f. scenario occurs. (Tryanical government, earthquake, asteroid, Katrena, solar flare, Bosnia, power outage, tornado, road rage, home invasion, etc...) odds are heavy it will never happen, but let's say I had to hold down the fort against three men trying to slay me.. each armed with a ten round pistol. Why is my right to defend not considered?
Japan had plans to invade in wwII, but scrapped them because it was thought every American house was armed.
