Lost , of course is the essential truth that Lebron / ESPN are peddling Racial Grievance . Laura is absolutely correct to take a run at them as it’s hilarious on its face, and that’s her job- to comment on the absurdities of American life. Not to mention that ESPN/ Lebrons race- centric Identity Politics are the antithesis of the American ideal on race and citizenship.
It’s not just that we all can scoff and laugh at Lebron for imagining that he is somehow a victim when he is in fact among the top 5000 most pampered and adored humans to have ever lived on planet Earth , it’s that he lacks the self- awareness to see how absurd he is when he wraps himself in the cloak of black victim hood. Yeah, no.
